Contract Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support contract management teams across various projects and accounts by working with account leadership and client stakeholders.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve commercial and contract risks and issues to ensure optimal outcomes for all parties.
• Assist in pre-award sales activities, including contract drafting and discussions regarding deal shaping and contractual outcomes.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with client counterparts through professional, client-facing engagement.
• Collaborate with contract management staff across multiple projects, accounts, and global geographies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in contract management.
• Solid understanding of commercial contracting regulations, principles, and terms and conditions.
• Knowledge of subcontracting practices.
• Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with client executives at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership in World Commerce and Contracting (formerly IACCM) or the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
• Relevant professional certification in contract management.
