Contract Review Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Review contracts for adherence to corporate standards and policies, identifying and communicating deviations and risks to project leadership.
• Critically review scopes of service and commercial terms to communicate nuanced legal and commercial risks.
• Contextualize and prioritize risks based on specific project characteristics.
• Advise on internal processes and actions to mitigate legal and project-related risks.
• Coordinate with local corporate counsel in other countries to find practical solutions for global projects.
• Continuously develop and improve contracting processes, resources, and precedents.

Requirements

• LLB or equivalent law degree.
• Admitted to practice law in Pune, India.
• 5+ years of commercial or litigation experience.
• Experience in professional design services or construction law (obtained from a law firm or in-house).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to use independent judgment and decisiveness to resolve complex issues.
