About the Company

Valon is building the AI-native operating system for regulated finance, starting with mortgage servicing. We are a Series C company backed by a16z, transforming industries by building our own mortgage servicing business to deeply understand the complexity needed to build software that works in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality candidate pipelines for technical and early-career roles
• Support university recruiting strategy, including career fairs and campus events
• Coordinate recruiting events, managing attendee tracking, resume reviews, and follow-ups
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and interview coordination
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to align sourcing with role requirements
• Utilize AI and recruiting tools to improve sourcing quality and workflow automation
• Maintain clean and actionable recruiting systems and candidate records

Requirements

• Experience in sourcing, recruiting coordination, university recruiting, or talent operations
• Strong interest in technical recruiting and high-growth environments
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex logistics
• Strong written communication skills for candidate outreach
• Familiarity with ATS, sourcing platforms, and AI tools
• High-agency mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguity
