Contract Manufacturing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic CM/JDM relationships, acting as a subject matter expert to optimize delivery, quality, and cost.
• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies for key partners while mitigating potential risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with CM/JDM partners at both working and executive levels.
• Manage supplier contracts, including periodic reviews, renegotiations, and conducting regular business reviews (QBRs).
• Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) from concept to EOL, leading RFP negotiations and supplier selection processes.
• Negotiate favorable terms for NRE, sample costs, production costs, Capex, and testing expenses.
• Oversee operations management by reviewing supply commitments, resolving material shortages, and managing purchase orders in the ERP system.
• Identify and execute cost reduction opportunities through BOM and MVA analysis in collaboration with internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in supply chain management or contract manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing CM/JDM relationships, preferably within the consumer electronics industry.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost structures, and supply chain dynamics.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Google Docs/Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
