Contract Manager

Responsibilities

• Analyze contractual risks including technical, quantity, volume, planning, and cost estimates
• Identify potential unfavorable events and opportunities regarding contract economics
• Issue alerts on unfavorable contract points and propose cost reduction strategies
• Maximize billing rights and monitor permanent and specific performance indicators
• Manage all economic documentation aspects of the contract
• Draft and follow up on sensitive contractual correspondence
• Assemble data and draft contractual arguments
• Establish final accounts and end-of-project claims by valuing all variances
• Participate in final account negotiations with clients
• Manage constraints and obligations related to partnership and joint venture agreements

Requirements

• Master's degree in Law (Bac+5) with a specialization in contract management
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of complex contracts from major clients
• Proficiency in Common Law
• Advanced or autonomous English proficiency
• Proven methodology in risk analysis and management for large-scale construction or engineering projects
• High level of rigor, interpersonal skills, and legal culture
• Willingness and ability to travel to project sites in Africa
