Contract Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of contracts related to equipment installation, facility modernization, and infrastructure maintenance
• Perform field audits to verify contractor compliance with contractual obligations, timesheets, cost tracking, and safety standards
• Prepare and present detailed audit reports including findings, risk assessments, and recommendations
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to align contracts with operational goals
• Monitor contractor performance, project milestones, and budget adherence
• Ensure contract compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and internal policies
• Support the resolution of disputes, claims, and contract modifications

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of contract management experience in industrial, manufacturing, or recycling environments
• Solid knowledge of metal recycling equipment (shredders, shears, presses, eddy current separators, conveyor systems)
• Experience in field audits, including timesheet verification and cost tracking
• Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations in industrial settings
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in contract management tools and Microsoft Office suite
• Bilingualism in French and English is required (French preferred)
• Availability to travel to operational sites as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in scrap metal processing or industrial recycling plants
• Contract management certification (CCMP, MRICS, PMP, or equivalent)
