Contract Manager

Responsibilities

• Process assigned bids and tenders and oversee the delivery of customer contracts
• Ensure all teams understand contract deliverables and stay on schedule
• Identify and mitigate potential contractual risks through negotiation and escalation
• Prepare detailed bus contract specifications and lead pre-production meetings
• Manage customer-requested changes, ensuring accurate cost capture and approval
• Support first-vehicle sign-off and coordinate customer factory visits
• Oversee product quality and service delivery for up to 28 days after factory delivery
• Assess new bid solicitations, evaluate product compatibility, and develop pricing strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial, contract, or project management
• Strong ERP/MRP system experience (ideally Super User level)
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering sectors (bus, automotive, or aerospace)
• Strong technical aptitude to understand product specifications
• Demonstrated capability in managing customer relationships and leading discussions
• Post-secondary education in Business or a related field preferred
• Ability to travel up to 10% and eligibility to travel to Canada and the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Engineering or Sales
• Strong understanding of commercial terms and pricing structures
