Contract Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to execution and compliance
• Serve as the primary interface for all contracts, resolving issues and signing contractual documents
• Work with technical and program management teams to monitor compliance with contract terms and government regulations
• Advise senior leadership on contract performance and interpret FAR/DFARS clauses
• Provide business development support by drafting RFI/RFQ/RFP responses, work statements, and pricing
• Oversee government reporting including SAM registration, GSA schedule reporting, and CPARs ratings
• Analyze solicitation requirements and prepare compliant responses for various contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, etc.)
• Maintain contract document management systems, tracking funding, portfolio, and backlog

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS)
• Experience managing government contracts valued at $20M and up
• Experience with all forms of government solicitations (RFP, RFQ, RFI)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 6+ years in contract negotiation or administration, specifically in government contracts
• Experience with NDAs, teaming agreements, and subcontract agreements
• Professional certifications such as CPCM or CFCM
