Contract Logistics Customer Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehousing operations and serve as the primary contact for customers
• Process orders received via mail, fax, email, EDI, or telephone
• Enter orders into automated systems and compute total costs for customers
• Verify accuracy of data and examine records such as bills of lading and computer printouts
• Coordinate with warehouse or carrier personnel to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments
• Investigate overdue, damaged, or short shipments and analyze billing complaints
• Compile statistics and prepare various reports for management
• Provide backup support for other accounts as assigned

Requirements

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service
• Proficiency in Windows-based order entry systems
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Ability to multitask, establish priorities, and solve problems effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP
• Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
