Contract Logistics 1st Shift Operations Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end warehousing operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping
• Direct and train employees to uphold safe, accurate, and effective warehouse procedures
• Assign daily tasks and provide clear guidance to team members to ensure efficient distribution center functions
• Utilize manual or powered material handling equipment to unload, transport, and store materials
• Confirm and record materials into the inventory system via accurate scanning
• Verify inbound and outbound paperwork and product counts with drivers
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support physical inventory counts
• Resolve complex operational issues and conduct audits to ensure adherence to safety standards

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role
• US citizenship
• Proficiency in operating power-driven machinery
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency with computer operating systems
• Ability to wear required safety shoes while on duty
