Contract Follow-up Specialist Railway

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks independently as a construction manager for design and production in total contracts.
• Follow up on consultation documents, review documents, and complete railway plans.
• Participate in the preparation of construction documents and tender documents.
• Check constructability, production methods, capacities, and control programs.
• Review work preparation to detect errors and critical moments regarding time, quality, environment, and safety.
• Continuously monitor the contractor's progress and compliance with contract requirements.
• Participate in inspections and ensure that inspection remarks are addressed.
• Verify contractor costs, diaries, notifications, and additional work (ÄTA).

Requirements

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• At least 5 years of experience in a leading position (site manager, supervisor, production manager, etc.) within BEST railway works.
• Experience participating in a finalized (legally binding) railway plan.
• At least 3 years of experience in contract follow-up within MK-BEST.
• Active participation in at least 4 railway projects.
• Valid certifications for TSM, SoS-leader, and SoS-planner.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and standard contracts ABK, AB, and ABT.
• Valid B-driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Trafikverket's process for handing over projects to operations/maintenance.
• Completed Trafikverket School training "Planning of roads and railways – process and consultation" within the last year.
• 5 years of experience from the contractor side within the railway sector.
