Contract & Claim Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead Contract & Claim Management (CCM) for projects up to €50 million
• Develop and implement effective contract and claim management strategies
• Analyze, review, and ensure contract compliance throughout all project phases
• Process legitimate claims while defending against unjustified demands
• Manage Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents and support contract negotiations
• Collaborate with auditors, engineers, legal advisors, and project teams
• Conduct contract reviews, trainings, and workshops
• Implement structured risk and opportunity assessment processes
• Oversee and coordinate dispute resolution and change order management
• Prepare and maintain professional contractual documentation and correspondence

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with legal/contractual qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in contract and claim management within construction or engineering
• Hands-on experience in industrial or plant construction, preferably in large-scale international projects
• Proven expertise in contract execution and claims management
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in complex environments
• Fluent in English and German
• Willingness to travel internationally for short- and long-term assignments
