About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage all assigned contract administration functions and provide legal guidance to the project team
- Prepare contractual correspondence with consultants, general contractors, and vendors
- Lead meetings to resolve disputes and discuss contractual or legal issues
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and project requirements
- Maintain accurate records of amendments, change orders, and contract-related correspondence
- Act as a liaison between contractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve disputes
- Identify potential contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial compliance
- Review and validate vendor invoices
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to other Contract Administrators
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 10 years of experience in contract administration or management within the construction industry
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and experience with FIDIC standard forms of contract
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and other analytical software tools
