Contract Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provide contractual and legal guidance to the project team to protect company and client interests
• Prepare and manage contractual correspondence with consultants, general contractors, and vendors
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and project requirements
• Plan contract activities, including post-award schedules and negotiations
• Act as a liaison between contractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve disputes and contractual issues
• Identify potential contract risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and vendor invoices for financial compliance
• Maintain accurate records of all contract-related documents, including amendments and change orders
• Serve as the Change Coordinator for preparing and reviewing change requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• 10 years of experience in contract administration or management within the construction industry

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and experience with FIDIC standard forms of contract
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and other analytical software tools
