Continuous Improvement/OpEx Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement innovative manufacturing processes and equipment
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to optimize manufacturing operations
• Oversee the manufacturing process to ensure quality and efficiency
• Provide technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and TPS tools
• Teach and coach team members on Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, Standard Work, Gemba Walks, FMEA, and root cause analysis

Requirements

• Experience with Toyota Production Systems, quality systems, and lean concepts
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Ability to lead functional teams or projects with moderate complexity
• Experience with quality tools such as PFD, FMEA, Control Plan, Gauge R&R, statistical analysis, and A3
• Certifications such as CQM, ISO 9000/TS-16949 Lead Auditor, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, or Master Black Belt preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
