Continuous Improvement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Spearhead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency using Lean methodologies such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM, and Kaizen
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to lead productivity improvement projects aligned with plant strategic objectives
• Manage improvement projects from concept to implementation, monitoring progress, resource projections, and effectiveness metrics
• Communicate project progress, identify potential risks, and deliver metric reporting and presentations to leadership
• Act as a change agent to instill a continuous improvement culture and mentor staff on Lean Six Sigma tools and standards

Requirements

• Approximately 3 years of experience with Lean/Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to define business improvement strategies and manage complex projects
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills with the ability to act as a change agent
• Excellent cross-functional facilitation and communication skills
• Ability to work with a hands-on approach and establish priorities with a sense of urgency
