Continuous Improvement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Spearhead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency using Lean methodologies such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM, and Kaizen
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive cross-functional processes and lead productivity improvement projects
• Manage projects from concept to implementation, including assessing resource projections, risk plans, and effectiveness metrics
• Communicate project progress, identify potential issues, and deliver metric reporting and presentations to align with business goals
• Act as a change agent to instill a Lean Six Sigma culture and mentor staff on Operational Excellence standards

Requirements

• Approximately 3 years of experience with Lean/Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to define business improvement strategies and manage complex projects
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams and facilitate cross-functional collaboration
• Proficiency in project management and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
