About the role

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency using Lean methodologies such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, TPM, and Kaizen
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive cross-functional processes and lead productivity improvement projects
  • Utilize project management structures to implement methodologies, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to timelines
  • Communicate project progress, identify potential issues, and deliver metric reporting and presentations to align with business goals
  • Act as a change agent to instill a Lean Six Sigma culture and mentor staff on Operational Excellence standards

Requirements

  • Approximately 3 years of experience with Lean/Six Sigma in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to define business improvement strategy and manage projects from concept to implementation
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to act as a change agent to foster a continuous improvement culture
  • Proficiency in cross-functional facilitation and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to establish priorities with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment
