Continuous Improvement Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Implement operational excellence and continuous improvement strategies to drive results in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events to drive sustainable improvements across the organization
• Develop and execute improvement action plans and manage capital projects
• Build an employee-engaged work environment and foster a CI culture
• Develop tracking tools, measures, and business case justifications for new initiatives
• Provide training on CI tools to team members and share best practices across facilities
• Track and analyze the CI process and maturity matrices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in a corporate or manufacturing environment
• 3+ years of direct Continuous Improvement experience
• Solid knowledge of LEAN techniques, Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and the 8 wastes
• Strong project management skills and financial acumen
• Proven leadership skills to drive the CI process at a local plant level

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
• Experience in Mechanical Engineering or the design of tooling and fixturing
