About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of the Site CI plan and act as a PMO for the site
- Support the Operational Excellence Strategy and facilitate change activity
- Monitor and support site CI plan delivery in collaboration with site teams and Regional CI Managers
- Report on progress, risks, issues, and benefits relating to CI and Project activity
- Identify opportunities for improvements in health and safety, quality, cost, service, and engagement
- Track and report on realized local benefits and support resource planning
- Lead the delivery of small projects to unlock benefits
- Upskill and coach colleagues on basic CI, problem solving, and work stream management
- Support major system changes through requirements gathering and process mapping
- Support the delivery and governance of new operational processes such as Visual Management and SOP maintenance
- Execute a site communication strategy to keep colleagues updated on change activity
Requirements
- Awareness of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience leading or being involved in projects using project management tools
- Strong presentation and training delivery skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word, Teams, BI)
- Data analysis and solution design capabilities
- Experience working closely with operations and developing effective relationships
- Experience implementing change in challenging environments
- Knowledge of IT systems such as M-Type, SCE, TMS, or Info view is ideal
