About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the continuous improvement roadmap for the power construction business unit.
- Promote and implement Lean construction principles including 5S, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and the Last Planner System.
- Facilitate Kaizen events, workshops, and problem-solving sessions across various project sites.
- Analyze project execution metrics, KPIs, and cost/schedule data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Establish standard work, process documentation, and training materials to ensure long-term sustainment.
- Coach leaders and project teams on CI tools, methodologies, and cultural adoption.
- Lead change management initiatives to drive operational excellence and reduce rework.
- Partner with Safety, Quality, Engineering, and Project Controls to align processes and optimize workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- 5–10+ years of experience in power construction, industrial construction, utilities, or EPC environments.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent).
- Proven experience driving process improvements in field and project-based settings.
- Proficiency with industry tools such as Primavera P6, Procore, or Power BI.
- Demonstrated experience leading change management initiatives.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
