About the role

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement the site's lean vision and establish an Operational Center of Excellence.
  • Facilitate and coach A3 projects, cross-functional Kaizen events, and multi-practitioner teams.
  • Lead end-to-end process analysis, mapping, and redesign initiatives to identify bottlenecks and variability.
  • Develop and implement process control strategies to reduce waste and improve stability.
  • Optimize cycle time, yield, OEE, capacity utilization, and labor efficiency using statistical analysis.
  • Deploy Lean and Six Sigma methodologies including DMAIC, PDCA, and A3.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track improvement initiatives and present results to senior leadership.
  • Mentor and coach supervisors, engineers, and frontline leaders in continuous improvement tools.
  • Travel 25-50% as required to support operational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field).
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or process engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong hands-on experience with process mapping, value stream mapping, and root cause analysis (A3, 5-Why, Fishbone).
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable cost savings and efficiency gains.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
  • Experience in high-volume or complex manufacturing environments within Pharmaceutical, Food, or Aerospace industries (GMP experience).
  • Experience with ERP/MES systems and data visualization tools.
  • Project management certification (PMP).
