About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a multi-year continuous improvement (CI) roadmap for HP’s distribution operations.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities using data analysis, value stream mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
- Lead large-scale, cross-functional projects including automation, digitalization, and process reengineering.
- Partner with Supply Chain Operations leadership and other business units to drive process standardization and optimize distribution flow.
- Facilitate executive steering committees and present progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Coach and mentor CI practitioners and operational teams to build a culture of operational excellence.
- Drive Lean culture by training teams in toolkits such as PDCA, Kaizen, and visual controls.
- Establish and track robust KPIs including order accuracy, cycle time, cost per order, and inventory turns.
- Manage strategic initiatives from initiation through execution, monitoring, and closeout.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in process improvement or operational excellence within distribution, logistics, or manufacturing.
- Minimum of 5 years in a continuous improvement leadership or senior project management role.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or higher) certification.
- Advanced skills in data analytics using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and digital supply chain technologies.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a global, matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with HP’s products, distribution models, or technology sector best practices.
- Formal training in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
