About the role
Responsibilities
- Deploy and execute site Continuous Improvement (CI) strategies to impact Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety (QCDS).
- Act as the primary Lean champion, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and supporting the Dover Operational Excellence Program.
- Facilitate workshops and target improvement events to achieve strategic objectives and improve gross margins.
- Provide CI training, coaching, and mentorship to frontline leaders and functional teams.
- Lead GEMBA walks and implement a consistent Daily Lean Management System (DLMS).
- Maintain KPI dashboards and visual management systems to support data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and communicate monthly productivity results to leadership.
Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Quality preferred), Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Lean Transformation within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and engage cross-functional teams at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on sustainable solutions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- US Citizenship is required due to ITAR/UNNPI regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience in bearings or manufactured components.
- Experience executing Operational Excellence processes and organizational learning programs.
- Demonstrated program management skills within manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in Power BI for Value Stream Mapping.
