Continuous Improvement Engineering Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform field diagnostics and flow analysis through regular GEMBA walks to identify operational friction and waste
• Map current analytical flows, including sample preparation, material circulation, and storage zones
• Lead 5S initiatives in sample preparation areas to improve ergonomics, safety, and efficiency
• Propose workstation redesigns and implement visual management standards, markings, and checklists
• Prepare and facilitate KAIZEN workshops to co-construct pragmatic solutions with operational teams
• Prioritize improvement actions and monitor their implementation on the ground

Requirements

• 2nd year engineering student specializing in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, or Industrial Performance
• Knowledge of Lean Management tools such as 5S, KAIZEN, GEMBA, and VSM
• Field-oriented mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with operational teams
• Autonomy, curiosity, and a proactive spirit
