About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead CORE and continuous improvement activities at the PSD site to drive metric improvements across all product lines
  • Collect, standardize, and automate KPI metrics at the product and flow line levels to identify improvement areas
  • Execute improvement plans for KPI metrics, CORE maturity, and Standard Production System initiatives
  • Plan and lead business-level CORE events, including quarterly CORE Leadership Weeks
  • Ensure robust process execution by creating and improving PFMEAs in support of product execution readiness
  • Oversee CORE proficiency growth for the employee population in collaboration with Black Belt and Red-X Specialists
  • Support business process audit preparations and follow-up activities

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with 6+ months of continuous improvement, engineering, or operations experience in manufacturing; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience; OR
  • Associate’s degree with 4+ years of relevant industry experience; OR
  • High School diploma or Military/Technical Training with 6+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by immigration regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • STEM degree, specifically in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, and Six Sigma
  • Certifications in CORE, ACE, Six Sigma, TPM, or LEAN
  • Experience in the Aftermarket Aerospace or MRO industry
  • Working knowledge of Solumina MES and SAP ERP
  • Strong project management skills, PMP certification preferred
