Continuous Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create and implement the site's lean vision and Lean Maturity Index to establish an Operational Centre of Excellence
• Lead, facilitate, and coach A3 projects, cross-functional Kaizen events, and multi-practitioner teams
• Support site continuous improvement by engaging with Global Operational Excellence leads to deploy global standards
• Play a leading role in the Site Cost Reduction/Improvement Program and report on cost-saving data
• Mentor and train the site team to raise Lean awareness and build internal capability
• Identify process improvement opportunities aligned with safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people strategies
• Utilize electronic data collection platforms and analysis tools to enable site performance management

Requirements

• Proven application of continuous improvement tools including Kaizen, TPM, SMED, and RCA
• Strong experience in stakeholder management to ensure engagement in change at all levels
• Demonstrated ability in people management and leading both formal and informal teams
• Experience managing finances and tracking cost savings
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple activities concurrently
• Hands-on, methodical approach to problem-solving and decision-making
