About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead value stream mapping, time studies, and Kaizen events to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements in cost, quality, and delivery
  • Develop standardized processes and documentation, including Standard Work, PFD, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Job Element Sheets
  • Apply structured problem-solving methodologies (A3, 5-Why, cause-and-effect analysis) to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable countermeasures
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring process readiness, validation, and alignment with manufacturing capabilities
  • Design and execute testing and validation plans, including gauge studies, reliability testing, and statistical analysis
  • Utilize data-driven performance management to monitor results and sustain operational gains
  • Develop training systems and documentation to build workforce capability and ensure compliance
  • Support capital investment initiatives, including AFE documentation
  • Conduct operational audits, identify performance gaps, and lead follow-up actions
  • Integrate voice of the customer insights into improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), CQE, or CMfgE certification preferred
  • Demonstrated success in process development and improvement with measurable operational outcomes
  • Experience with structured quality and operating systems (Toyota Production System, ISO, ASQ frameworks)
  • Strong foundation in manufacturing processes and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Applied knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
