Continuous Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvement initiatives in logistics and distribution to improve production efficiencies and yields
• Support the launch of new projects and initiatives with a focus on West Coast fulfillment operations
• Analyze data using statistical tools and value stream mapping to identify strategic improvement opportunities
• Manage a portfolio of lean projects using tools such as 5S, KPI, SMED, VSM, and Kaizen
• Create documentation for training materials including checklists, standard work, and SOPs
• Coach and develop current CI Engineers and operations leadership teams
• Implement tools such as SPC, Process Capability, Pareto analysis, and Fishbone

Requirements

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or delivery operations
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or Project Management
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices
• Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office (Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Jira, and Confluence
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain onsite presence at Fulfillment Centers

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of a Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis for complex processes and data sets
