Continuous Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and improve business processes, workflows, and operational procedures across multiple ITAD facilities.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, throughput, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct time studies, labor analysis, capacity planning, and workflow assessments to establish performance standards.
• Partner with facility leadership to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Support facility design, layout optimization, material flow analysis, and space utilization initiatives.
• Develop and implement process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
• Perform quantitative analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and ROI modeling to support capital investments.
• Lead strategic projects involving operational transformation, automation, and process standardization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in continuous improvement or industrial engineering.
• Strong expertise in Lean methodologies and workflow optimization within warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environments.
• Proficiency in CAD software, AutoCAD, Visio, or other warehouse design and modeling tools.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 25–30% to support multiple facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent Continuous Improvement certification.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Labor Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience mentoring junior engineers or process improvement professionals.
