About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and improve business processes, workflows, and operational procedures across multiple ITAD facilities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, throughput, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct time studies, labor analysis, capacity planning, and workflow assessments to establish performance standards.
- Partner with facility leadership to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Support facility design, layout optimization, material flow analysis, and space utilization initiatives.
- Develop and implement process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
- Perform quantitative analysis, cost-benefit assessments, and ROI modeling to support capital investments.
- Lead strategic projects involving operational transformation, automation, and process standardization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in continuous improvement or industrial engineering.
- Strong expertise in Lean methodologies and workflow optimization within warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environments.
- Proficiency in CAD software, AutoCAD, Visio, or other warehouse design and modeling tools.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 25–30% to support multiple facilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent Continuous Improvement certification.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Labor Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or process improvement professionals.
