Continuous Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation of IEM Business System tools and processes across operations, supply chain, engineering, and commercial functions
• Plan, lead, and coach cross-functional kaizen events focused on lean fundamentals, standard work, and visual management
• Develop internal capability by training and coaching team members and leaders in lean thinking and continuous improvement practices
• Assess business system maturity across plants and functions using tools like Hoshin Kanri and KPI dashboards
• Act as a catalyst for cultural transformation and data-driven decision-making
• Partner with site leadership to embed IEM360 into key processes such as S&OP and operational reviews
• Identify, document, and disseminate internal best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement
• Deep understanding of Lean principles (5S, VSM, standard work, PDCA, SMED, A3)
• Demonstrated success leading cross-functional kaizen events
• Understanding of basic operations finance and P&L impact
• Strong facilitation, project management, and communication skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% to manufacturing locations

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master’s degree
• Experience working in or with a formal business system such as DBS or CBS
