Continuous Improvement Engineer- Black Belt

Responsibilities

• Manage the site's Continuous Improvement (CI) program for quality and productivity, including Kaizen activities and Lean Six Sigma projects
• Present project portfolios resulting from Value Stream Analysis activities
• Align projects and CI activities to meet Production System Savings targets and site productivity improvement targets
• Validate site savings with financial controllers and ensure data integrity is maintained
• Support the development of productivity management tools to monitor performance at process and site levels
• Assist operations in achieving Kuehne + Nagel Excellence levels (Blue through Gold)
• Work with the National Master Black Belt to develop and coach Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belts

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• 5-10 years of Continuous Improvement experience
• 5-10 years of experience in a Warehousing environment
• 2-5 years of Project Management experience
