Continuous Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing workshops including 5S, Kaizen, SMED, Kanban, and TPM.
• Analyze organizational data to ensure reliability and support strategic decision-making.
• Propose and execute innovative solutions to reduce scrap, downtime, and motion waste.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure new project launches meet defined objectives.
• Maintain constant communication with operational areas and regional continuous improvement teams.
• Ensure compliance with Integrated Management Systems (Quality, Environmental, and Safety).
• Participate in optimization projects for semi-automatic and automatic production lines.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency in problem-solving tools such as PDCA, RCA, and 8D.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience implementing improvements in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate to advanced English skills for technical conversations and global collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma certification (Yellow Belt or higher).
• Knowledge of Quality, Environmental, and/or Safety Management Systems.
• Previous experience in continuous improvement, industrial engineering, or process roles.
