Continuous Improvement Associate

Responsibilities

• Act as a key driver of the FI-11 continuous improvement program, managing elements from 5S application to formal waste and loss elimination
• Support the planning, coordination, and roll-out of SW2.0 initiatives, focusing on process loss improvement, material cost reduction, and defect reduction
• Develop and monitor meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for continuous improvement activities
• Perform regular daily, weekly, and monthly KPI report-outs and drive improvement opportunities with cross-functional teams
• Deliver training and lectures on FI-11, continuous improvement, problem-solving, and critical thinking to all organizational levels
• Support regulatory and safety compliance across all processes and departments

Requirements

• BS in Industrial Engineering or a related field (BBA in Project Management or Operations Management will be considered)
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or factory setting (includes internships and co-op experience)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to navigate and learn Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle or SAP
• Ability to present training content in both 1:1 and group settings
• Willingness to work long hours as needed and travel occasionally (domestic and international)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with highly automated and integrated manufacturing systems
• Prior experience with Lean, 5S training, and managing continuous improvement projects or audit processes
• Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP certifications
• Experience working in start-ups or multicultural environments
• Proficiency in Korean
