Continuing Care Assistant Instructor

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Continuing Care Assistant program curriculum using various instruction strategies to meet diverse student learning styles
• Teach assigned courses in accordance with course competencies in a safe and civil learning environment
• Manage administrative tasks including taking daily attendance and grading class tests, assignments, and exams
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends to enhance the student learning experience
• Support the vision, mission, and values of Eastern College by fostering a positive, inclusive, and student-focused environment

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• NSCN registration in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of practical work experience working with Continuing Care Assistants
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Compliance with the Private Career Colleges Act requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching or instructional experience
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including supervision, motivation, and facilitation
