Continuing Airworthiness (CAw) Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the E-7 Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and associated Interface Control Documents (ICD)
• Support the development and improvement of continuing airworthiness processes within the ISTAR Air Wing Engineering core CAMO
• Guide the development of airworthiness management metrics and dashboards to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
• Monitor regulations to update compliance procedures and support CAM Support processes
• Identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and opportunities to support BDUK and the E-7 CAMO
• Contribute to company initiatives including quality improvements, safety culture, and diversity and inclusion

Requirements

• Ability to obtain UK SC security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering Degree qualification
• Airworthiness of Military Aircraft Course – Fundamentals (AMAC-F)
• EWIS Training and Aircraft Exit/Entry Training
• Proficiency with GOLDesp, ASIMS, and Resolve software
• Knowledge of TR75 (CAM Skills for a Defence CAMO) and TT08 (Understanding Defence CAMO Regulations)
• E-7 Managers Course completion
• Human Factors & Error Management Continuation Training
• Strong communication skills with a commitment to driving first-time quality
