Content Platform Lead

Responsibilities

• Own the product strategy and roadmap for Gen’s Content Platform, spanning modern headless CMS and legacy stacks
• Lead content architecture strategy including content models, taxonomies, and component libraries
• Drive consolidation and migration from legacy CMS implementations onto a unified headless CMS
• Build content authoring and governance experiences for non-engineering teams to self-serve
• Define AI-readiness of the platform to enable LLM-driven generation and automated tagging
• Partner with Web Experiences PM to ensure clean rendering across multiple brands
• Define KPIs for platform adoption, time-to-publish, and content reuse
• Manage CMS and content-ops vendor relationships and lead buy-vs-build decisions

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience (L10) or 10+ years (L11)
• Deep experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful, Sanity, Contentstack, Strapi)
• Proven track record leading CMS consolidation or re-platforming programs
• Strong understanding of content modeling, taxonomy design, and component-based design systems
• Familiarity with rendering strategies (SSR/SSG/ISR) and web performance
• Ability to define AI-ready content architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, Information Systems, or a related field
