Content & Partnerships Intern

Responsibilities

• Support Executive and Associate Producers in producing video content for programs like "Comcast Newsmakers" and "Voices of the Civil Rights Movement"
• Assist with all stages of production including pitching, researching, field producing, writing, and overseeing edits
• Craft smart headlines and captions for video content following AP style
• Conduct research for potential future interviews and photo research
• Perform quality control and fact-checking to ensure content accuracy and alignment with editorial standards

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a US-based college or university
• Rising Junior or Senior status (graduation date between Winter 2026 and Spring 2028)
• Available to work 40 hours per week for the 11-week summer program (June 1 – August 14, 2026)
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship needs
• Ability to work in-person at the Comcast Center Campus in Philadelphia, PA
• Passion for video production and journalism-driven storytelling

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in broadcast scriptwriting or short-form editorial copy
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Avid, or Final Cut
• Understanding of basic journalism or newsroom production workflows
• Strong fact-checking and research skills
• Background in Broadcast Journalism, Film Production, or Communications/Media
