Content Moderator

Responsibilities

• Review user-generated content including text, images, and video for compliance with community standards and local laws
• Make consistent moderation decisions based on written policies and training materials
• Categorize, tag, and document content decisions accurately within the moderation platform
• Escalate complex or borderline cases to senior moderators or policy teams
• Meet individual and team quality and productivity targets while maintaining high attention to detail
• Collaborate with multilingual teams, safety, and operations colleagues to resolve issues
• Participate in ongoing training, calibration sessions, and quality assurance reviews

Requirements

• Native or fluent English (C1 level or higher) with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on-site in Sofia, Bulgaria, with full eligibility to live and work in the country
• Ability to handle sensitive or potentially disturbing content with professionalism
• Proficiency with digital tools and a willingness to learn new moderation platforms
• Ability to work in rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in content moderation, trust & safety, or customer support
• Basic understanding of online communities, social media platforms, and content risks
