About the Company

Orbital is an AI-first industrial company building hardware from the atoms up. We are starting with critical hardware for AI data centers to make them more performant and sustainable, uniting AI-automated hardware engineering with AI-designed material science.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive Orbital's content strategy with a clear line of sight to commercial outcomes like pipeline and revenue acceleration
• Act as a strategic partner to Sales to identify gaps in the buyer's journey and build assets that move prospects forward
• Establish editorial processes including briefing, drafting, review, and publication
• Produce thought leadership connecting materials innovation to challenges in data centers, energy efficiency, and sustainability
• Lead production of high-impact content including presentations, product specs, technical blog posts, and scientific explainers
• Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Science, and Leadership to ensure content accuracy and alignment
• Build Orbital's presence across key communities in data centers, infrastructure, AI research, and engineering

Requirements

• Proven ability to devise and execute a content strategy that drives a GTM function
• Experience working closely with Sales and GTM teams
• Outstanding writing and editing skills with strong long-form examples
• Proficiency in using LLMs and AI tools to execute content at scale
• Experience or affinity for deep tech, compute, energy, cooling, or industrial technology sectors
• Data-driven mindset using analytics to inform decisions and report on impact
• Builder mindset with the ability to create a foundational content function from scratch
• Startup or early-stage company experience is a plus
