Content Creator

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute engaging, "sticky" social media content to generate interest and streams for AWAL artists
• Develop content strategies specifically tailored to Latin and global diaspora music communities
• Identify emerging internet trends and social media conversations to drive dialogue around music
• Execute end-to-end content production, including shooting, designing, editing, and copywriting
• Strategize on the most effective platforms and methods for content distribution to maximize impact

Requirements

• Fluent or native Spanish speaker with deep familiarity with Latin music and global music scenes
• Proven track record of building and growing social media accounts, including achieving virality
• Professional experience in content creation, graphic design, and video editing
• Strong copywriting skills and the ability to write engaging social captions
• Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles, California

• A proactive, self-driven approach to identifying trends and executing creative ideas
• A deep passion for music marketing and building audiences for independent artists
• Experience operating across multiple social media platforms with a high level of digital literacy
