Content and External Communication Specialist

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute an integral communication strategy involving digital media, press relations, and content creation to strengthen the reputation of the San Luis Potosí campus.
• Elaborate, distribute, and promote press releases, collaborations, and media alerts.
• Maintain and update the contact database for key media outlets and journalists in San Luis Potosí.
• Organize strategic media interactions such as press conferences, media trips, panels, and presentations.
• Manage the TEC Press Center to promote information to local media.
• Plan and execute the editorial calendar and social media content strategy for the campus.
• Provide on-site coverage for campus events to generate timely text, image, and video content for digital channels.

Requirements

• Degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in communication, PR, media relations, or digital marketing.
• Strong content writing and editing skills.
• Experience in social media management and content planning.
• Basic proficiency with Adobe design tools.
• Basic to intermediate English level.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
