Containerization Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
• Implement security best practices including image security, network security, and access control
• Support deployment and configuration of containerization platforms
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment
• Monitor container performance, resource utilization, and health metrics
• Create automation scripts for managing environments and scaling resources
• Collaborate with development and L2 support teams to resolve infrastructure challenges
• Document processes, architecture, and knowledge base articles

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 1-2 years of direct hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift
• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Systems Engineering
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
