Containerization Operations Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Project manage the field deployment of containers distributed across the City
• Manage site planning, desktop data analysis, and container installation
• Oversee ongoing operational status including maintenance, repair, and cleaning
• Manage large Excel spreadsheets and create pivot tables from exported data
• Create and maintain project documentation, schedules, and status reports
• Supervise field deployment and operations across the five boroughs
• Interact with the public, city agencies, elected officials, and community boards
• Coordinate with the Fiscal Team to manage program budget, invoices, and expenditures
• Work with DSNY staff and external agencies like NYPD and DOT
• Perform field work during installations

Requirements

• Master's degree in economics, finance, business, public administration, or a related field plus 2 years of professional experience (including 18 months in a managerial/supervisory capacity)
• OR Baccalaureate degree plus 4 years of professional experience (including 18 months in a managerial/supervisory capacity)
• Experience in budget administration, operations research, or program evaluation
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
• Ability to work in the field and potentially operate a Department vehicle
