About the role
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and enhance security solutions, such as Unauthorized Lateral Movement prevention, for large-scale OpenShift platforms.
- Own and operate enterprise-scale security solutions in an automated and seamless manner.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure container platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to support design decisions, implementation planning, and issue resolution.
- Contribute to the architecture, reliability, and scalability of new and existing container security systems.
- Support the full lifecycle of security solution delivery, from initial design through implementation and ongoing operations.
- Improve secure platform engineering practices through automation and operational rigor.
- Lead client engagement workstreams focused on process optimization and transformation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in security engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with OpenShift or similar Kubernetes platforms at scale.
- 6+ years of experience in the full lifecycle of enterprise software solutions (design, implementation, and support).
- 6+ years of experience in architecture and design, including reliability and scaling considerations.
- 6+ years of experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, or OpenShift.
- 6+ years of expertise in Python or Java, including associated tooling like Git, Jenkins, or Bitbucket.
- 6+ years of experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (minimum 3 days onsite in Dallas, TX) and travel approximately 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or enhancing container security controls for large-scale enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work across distributed teams and global time zones.
- Strong understanding of platform reliability, automation, and secure-by-design principles.
- Ability to deliver technical demonstrations and provide clear guidance to others.
