Container Hoist Driver

Responsibilities

• Operate single and double stacker container hoists (up to 8 high, max 45,000kg)
• Move empty shipping containers around the yard efficiently
• Load and unload trucks
• Communicate clearly with the team via RT
• Adhere strictly to all Health & Safety procedures

Requirements

• Full NZ Class 1 licence (essential)
• Experience operating heavy vehicles or machinery
• Proven confidence with heavy machinery (container hoists are not standard forklifts)
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
• Ability to work the night shift (Monday - Friday, 5:00pm - 3:30am)
• Flexibility to work across other sites when required
• NZ work eligibility
• Successful completion of a pre-employment medical and drug test
• Successful MOJ criminal history check
