Container Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate a container forklift (reach stacker) to load and unload trucks
• Reposition containers within the depot as required
• Stack containers according to Safe Working Instructions
• Maintain a tidy and systematic yard environment
• Complete all necessary associated documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety, fatigue, and heavy vehicle operating guidelines
• Take responsibility for the care and maintenance of assigned vehicles and plant

Requirements

• Current forklift license
• Proven experience with container forklift operations
• Ability to work flexibly in a demanding environment
• Strong ability to work effectively within a small team
• Ability to comply with regular drug and alcohol testing
• Successful completion of a functional pre-employment medical assessment
