About the role

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to participants, homeowners, and contractors to resolve issues or answer questions.
  • Review energy efficiency rebate applications for eligibility and process payments.
  • Research and respond to inquiries received via telephone and mail.
  • Provide thorough documentation of customer service interactions, issues, and escalations.
  • Complete business-related correspondence and assigned projects in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve program goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 1 year of relevant experience (or 3 years of equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in grants management, business, finance, application review, or customer service.
  • Proficiency in a Windows environment and desktop applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow through on projects.
  • Ability to work onsite in San Antonio, TX, Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience specifically in Grants Management or Energy Rebate programs.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
  • Previous experience working with CRM software.
