Consumer Safety Science Scientist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate adverse events and safety information to ensure global compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
• Perform signal detection activities for designated products using methodologies such as signal management tools and literature reviews.
• Produce accurate evaluation documents and safety contributions for regulatory submissions and license renewals.
• Provide safety input for development programs, including clinical studies, real-world evidence, and post-authorization safety studies.
• Assist in the implementation of risk minimization strategies and the maintenance of product labeling.
• Represent Consumer Safety Science on cross-functional project teams and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical, Healthcare, or a related scientific specialty.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of causality assessment and methodologies applicable to safety evaluation and risk management.
• Proficiency in medical and drug terminology.
• Strong medical writing skills and competence in producing regulatory-grade documentation.
• Sound computing skills and ability to use various data sources for information gathering.
