About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain established relationships with clients through periodic visits to medical professionals to present product concepts.
- Represent Alcon within the medical demand channel, including contactologists, assistants, hospitals, clinics, and pharmaceutical points of sale.
- Execute category management strategies to accelerate business growth within the Belo Horizonte region.
- Manage the implementation of merchandising initiatives created by the Marketing department.
- Work closely with regional management to monitor performance indicators (KPIs) and meet established goals.
- Provide technical clarification and assist clients with problem-solving in accordance with company commercial and compliance policies.
- Drive demand for the Glaucoma line and other Vision Care products to increase market share.
- Organize and participate in medical events to promote Alcon's products and brand image.
- Visit pharmacies and interact with commercial partners to maximize business results.
Requirements
- Experience in commercial sales and business development.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- High emotional intelligence to handle difficult negotiations and high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility and curiosity to adapt to constantly changing environments.
- Availability for travel.
- Degree in Business Administration or a similar field.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in medical visitation specifically within the Ophthalmology field.
